How to deal with “I wanna go home!”

Here’s a funny dialog we had with Emma on the way to Denmark. Sophia obviously was better than me at figuring out which button to press :o)

Emma: “I wanna go home.”
Dad: “but we’re traveling now…”
Emma: “I wanna go home!”
Dad: “we’re not coming home in a long time!”
Emma: “I wanna go HOME!”
Mom: “we’re going to a NEW home today.”
Emma: “We’re going to a NEW home?”
Mom: “Yes!”
Emma: “We’re going to a NEW home! I wanna go to the new home!”
